Dr. Boyter is a unique kind of dentist. He takes a gentle approach, easing any concerns you might have by providing valuable patient education. He listens so he can best understand your particular needs. Then he strives to provide the highest standard of personalized dental care using his skilled training in the latest advances in dental technology.
After graduating from Ouachita Baptist University with a double major in biology and chemistry, Dr. Boyter went on to extend his education by receiving his doctorate from The University of Tennessee in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Boyter is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, 4th District Dental Society, and the Seattle Study Club.
Shannon joined our dental family in 2013 after marrying Dr. Russell Boyter in 2012. She came to the practice with more than 20 years of banking experience. Shannon loves working with both numbers and people, so her position at Stones River Dental is her perfect job! Shannon looks forward to building more and more relationships with her team members and our patients. She hopes to help make the patient experience at our office the very best it can be! Away from the office, Shannon enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing by the pool or at the lake and on road trips on their Gold Wing motorcycle.
Steffi has been caring for patients since graduating with her associate’s from Tennessee State University in 2011. Her passion for learning and dedication to the dental hygiene profession led her to receive the Sigma Phi Alpha award for graduating first in her class. She has great compassion for each patient she meets and always strives to deliver the highest quality of care and personalized patient education. She enjoys attending seminars so she can stay current on the latest dental topics. When away from work, Steffi loves spending time with her husband, Alex, and her cat, O’Malley. She adores music, good food, and classic movies.
Kelsie achieved her dental assisting license from Dental Staff School of Franklin in March of 2015. She joined our team in November 2015. She is originally from Lebanon and still resides there with her daughter Ella Grace. She enjoys coming to work each day because she loves getting to know each patient and spending a little bit of their day with them! She also enjoys working alongside Dr. Boyter and listening to all of his stories! Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her daughter, friends and family.
